Okay So Root and I dropped a few beans the other day. I was waiting to see green, before posting, but the RAD is stubborn on the crackin' Spic gave me threee kids. and they are doing well.

Hopefully RAD can catch up.

I am gonna use some soil we got in the NUTE shop locally.

Dr. Earth Organics Gots some bat guano.

Will post a picture of that in a few. But first some of the sprouts.

Medic is having troubles getting RAD to crack too. Im not sure what the problem could be. the only thing I can think of is maybe since Spice are F1 and RAD is inbred that they will take longer to crack. RAD can drown easily. Did you soak them over 24 hours?

Evol. I had a talk with a old..very old Dutch Breeder(the guy who made the Santa Maria). He said it could be that the Seeds were a lil bit too long Ripen. He said this can happen in days he had a batch going 48 hrs longer in the plants as usual cause he hadnt the time to cut them down and the same appeared that the Shells were very Hard and it was hard to Crack for them. He adviced me to take a Needle and make some Scratch marks on them before dropping in Water. So at least some Water makes it into the Shell to start the Germing Process. I will give it a try on the nex Run.

Congrats on the sprouts Root and Eek.:Sharing One:
Will you be running these ladies in the greenhouse?
The RAD may be slow to pop, but once it gets going...Watch out.

Any luck with the RAD yet? If you still have some try scarifying them. Im going to do a fresh RAD run personally so you all get a chance to try it.

The RAD never popped.

I'll try to get pictures of the 3 Spice later today.

Hi All,

Sorry for being late, but I was wrapping up the other test grow. Now I have more freedom.

I will post pictures from two weeks ago, then a week ago, and then today.

I only have the Spice going, as mentioned. I am going to keep these under the lights until I harvest the first VOG, then they will go in the greenhouse. Probably at the beginning of October.

These were two weeks ago...

And this was a week ago.

I am thinking they will bush up fine.

Hey Evol, how do these take to topping?

Peace All

Topping may be the way to go with Spice. The mother was very tall with very long branches and the father very bushy.

Hello All,

I thought I would throw up a few pictures. I apologize for not spending a whole lot of time on these, or at least this part of it. But Harvest is in in NorCal, and everyone is super busy.

But we knew time would be short.:coffee2:

So, since you all don't know. I am using some new soil for these girls, so this grow is simultaneously being threaded in my Dr. Earth Soil test thread.

The soil should go from start to finish. However, I have yet to see this happen, even with my own soil. We shall see, so far they look good. Might have some wind damage, cuz they were too close to the fan

They are all out in the greenhouse now, and they love it.

The topping went well, but it looks like it could use it again. these are stretchy gals.

How about a few pics.

I let the Rad stretch a little because she gets stout. Thick as can be. Like a fire hydrant :)
