SeedBank : Bred by La Buena Hierba, sold through Flash Seeds.
Strain: Sour Diesel Haze
Did it autoflower?: Yes
Soil/hydro: Soil
Description: Wg's Easy Dirt
Nutes: Started with Alaska Fish (5-1-1), finished with Rock Nutrients
Light (kind and schedule): 4', 8 bulb T5 with CFL's for side light, 20/4
From seed to harvest date: 93 days
Dry Yield: 63.5g, 2.24oz
High/Effect Duration: Very Heady, lasted about 3 hours for this light weight. I would not recommend mixing it with vodka. Made me a bit paranoid, and very energetic. If I was used to smoking, this would be a good day time high.
BAG APPEAL: Reminds me of the "Red Hair" from days gone by. And nice, compact buds.
THE GROWTH: It survived, despite my mistakes, seemed to be very CaMg needy. Out of three beans (one from a previous grow) one went hermie, one was outright male, one stayed female.
The one that made it displayed clawing almost out of the gate, despite low N, and towards the end had some small fan leaves completely inverted.
THE SMELL: Stellar! Very diesel forward, with a spicey/skunky background
THE SMOKE: Smmmmmooooooth. I'm still in the cure process, but a nice earthy/tangy mix.
THE HIGH: As I said, I rarely smoke. This one had me wired to the gills. A touch of paranoia, but not in a bad way, if that makes any sense. More like a heightened awareness? Gobs of energy. My missus gets a head/body high from it, and says for her it gives a very social high. It apparently just hits me differently.
Here's the notes:
These Beans were from Herbies, and NOT Stitch Direct. I won't even dip my toe in that mess.
Having said that, I can see why SDH is so appealing, and I'm pretty sure my final bean reflected LBH's breeding, based on the final product.
Nice buds, smooth smoke and a very enjoy able effect.
