Soil/Hydro: Soil (Organic)
Nutes: General Purpose Organic nutes, fortified with Bone meal, blood meal, bat guano, pot ash, humic acid, azomite, epsom salt (all in soil mix, none added during growth)
Lights: BlackStar LED 24/0
Days from seed to harvest: 72 Days
Dry yield: 25 grams
High effect/duration: Relaxing, pleasant high with a good mix of head and body effects, several hours long. I kind of lost track of time after chilling with this and playing a game.
Bag appeal: I can't really give this a fair grade, due to light damage caused by my own mistakes ruining some of the leaves and buds, making it look uglier than it should. The undamaged parts were a lovely dark green, with the numerous orange hairs standing out in sharp contrast. LOTS of trichs on buds and leaves, very frosty and sexy!
The growth: 5/5. Dense and bushy, this is a strain well suited to growers with height restrictions. It would probably do better with more thorough training; the branches came together tightly and swelled up nicely; I actually had to cut pretty much the entire plant from its main stem, then snip branches off by working up from the bottom! It was just too dense and bushy to get at them from the top down.
The smell: 3/5 I didn't personally care for the smell. It definitely lived up to its name, with a potent sour smell that hits you hard the second you open the jar. Curing mellowed it a bit though; its not the stinkiest strain out there, but it is SOUR.
The smoke: 5/5 Despite the pungent, almost unpleasant to me aroma, the smoke was very nice and pleasant. Both in pipe and bong, it didn't taste as powerful as it smelled, which made for a great time smoking and enjoying it; actually made it too easy to overindulge. I smoked myself into a migraine one day because I just couldn't stop loading another!
The high: 4/5 I prefer more energetic and head based highs. This was a great strain for relaxing, but still doing something. I played a lot of video games and watched movies on it; the couchlock effect creeps up on you over time, so you start off feeling euphoric and great, and over the course of an hour or so you just feel great and at peace, but moving is sooooo hard. I personally embraced that aspect; this is the perfect strain for me to use prior to a movie marathon or an all nighter on some games.
