Hey everyone I've been running a couple photo cuts that are insane. Jbeezy wedding cake and Hell's ya cut of mendo breath - a few others I'm not supposed to have as well that I won't talk about but youve heard of them.

If I pollen chuck one of my autos into them what happens? I see canuk seeds offering fast versions - is that what happens or?

So say like

Sour Stomper x Pineapple Express(photo)?

Maybe there's a resource I missed or a book I can purchase that will help anyone reccomends?

I think I'll be able to answer that question in about a year. My plan is to grow out some hybrids I created, pick a couple of good clones and breed them to some double grape parents.

Then I plan to grow out a bunch of the double grape descendants until I get some fire clones. Once I have the clones I'll breed them, then cross their descendants until the auto trait is fixed again. If I have trouble fixing to my chosen pheno, I'll backcross to the original clone, water, rinse, repeat.

That's the plan anyway. If I'm clueless I should figure it out in a couple of years.

I'm going to blog it but haven't decided whether to make public what the original strains were. At least not until I've fixed a new strain or given up lol.

You have to breed for 4 or 5 generations selecting what you want and breeding out the photo genes I don't know about making fast version. But you would just keep the lights on 16hrs whatever flowers breed with. You gotta go down 4 generations

Cross Autoflowers to Autoflowers with selective breeding to get a fast F1 auto. I specialise in fast flowering selective breeding.

Hi friends
I think I check in to help. If you cross
Auto x Photo = f1 fast version the auto gen is recessives. After crossing F1 x F1 = f2 the gen split you will find fast version like F1 , photoperiod like the parents and autoflower phenos. If you select the autoflower phenos for the next generation you will end with f3 autoflower seeds.

I hope it helps a bit, if you got questions to breeding feel free to ask.

Have a nice day

Thank you for the info! I appreciate you checking in. I have some breeder cuts that are phenomenal.

Thank you so much, one question I have is in your example are you putting auto pollen onto the Reg photos? Or reg photo pollen onto autos? Does thiis matter? I worked with Reeferman briefly and he said the structure comes from the male and the flower from the female (this is a simplified explanation of what he said).

Hi DSC
At first you can use both ways , working with reg photo or reg auto and use the males.
It all depends on the breeding goal and what kind of strains you want to use. If I got a great photoperiod girl and want a auto version of it I use a auto male, go to f3 and then do a backcross and pollinate the same photo girl with auto pollen from the f3 generation. Than the backcross generation carry 75% of the photo girl and 25% from the auto male. I work out the line again to f3 like I Worte in the other post and do the bx2 , if you follow a breeding map like this you will have a auto version as close as possible from the photo girl.
But it all depends on the goal you got for your breeding projects.

I hope it wasn't to confuse because English isn't my mother language.

....feel free to ask if you need more information.

Your English is pretty decent, this is extremely helpful!

My goals of breeding at this point is to create a decent cropping plant for extracts or flower that works in my climate. We get about 100 days of decent weather.

Hi DSC
Ok at first I would test different strains to see what to use and how good they develop, maybe a bit research in the net to see what others have grown in the same condition.

With 100 days of decent weather you got a chance to grow some nice autoflower plants.
Have a nice day
