Some input?

So my plant has been flowering 16 days today, leaves are going dodgy and looking for some thoughts on what may be wrong.

Temps are unknown
It's a Pineapple Express auto under 400W HPS
I ph between 5.8 and 6.0
I havent gone any higher than 3.5ml A+B per gallon
100% Canna Coco
2 Gal pots
I water when I feel it needs it, supplying the nutes everytime and to minimal run-off tbh.

Hit it with a rather low dose of Calcium & Mag a while ago which brought back some of that deep green colour but the damage looks to have returned, I was thinking flush but this is my first grow so I'm looking for some input before I move forward.

That looks a lot like my calcium deficiency. I opted to foliar feed it after realizing my pH was too low (lockout). Took two times to really stop the damage.

Also your pH is in lockout range for calcium, so I think foliar feeding is the best option.

is foliar feeding with tap water and 2% soloution of epsom salts safe on the buds?

because 2 of my plants have developed some rusty spots on the middle and lower fan leaves, i watered with epsom salts a few days ago but i suspect i need to flush out my soil as im on week 6 from seed and havnt flushed yet or could have ph lock out because my pk13/14 might have droped my ph below safe levels.

any ideas peeps?

sorry fror jacking your thread.lol:D

Thanks for the reply, I strongly suspect Cal/Mag uptake is a problem, it seems to be one of the most common problems growers using coco run in to.

Cal/mag uptake can be an issue when doing soil less growing. Those of us who grow in Pro Mix often run into it as well. Always a good idea to keep a bottle on hand. For soil less, follow the hydro guidelines.

You can see that almost no calcium is taken up at your pH.

Appreciate the reply Muddy.

Throughout my browsing I've come across many people who water their coco at 5.8, should I be going lower?

I hate seeing the leaves in such bad shape, the buds are packing the frost and are very sweet/fruity, how shall I proceed?

What I was always told was when growing soil less to run the pH at 5.5 in veg and 5.8 in flower. Jackal also grows in Pro Mix like I do and he was recently told by the people at AN that for Pro Mix, a pH of 6.2 is better. I believe JM also grows in Pro Mix at a pH of 6.2 or 6.3. I'm currently doing a grow where I'm testing the 5.5 and 5.8. How closely coco relates to Pro Mix, I can't say as I've never grown with coco. I think you're good where you're at. I would just supplement some more cal/mag and maybe hit them with a foliar feed of cal/mag also.
