New Grower Soil question for my next grow

Actually, I have already decided on the soil. What I need help understanding is if I am right when I am thinking sand, perlite, leca and vermiculite has the same purpose in the dirt and that I use one of those to lighten up the soil for the roots and for more oxygen?

If I am right I am thinking either perlite or vermiculite. (Of course I could be wrong - please help me understand this subject if I am)

Any suggestions?
