My hay like harvest from earlier this year
Hey everyone, got a pH question. I am close to week 5 of flower and I am out of town on business. I have left my wife in charge of watering my plant. I completely forgot to get more pH adjuster. Tap water is roughly 7.2, and I am not having her feed as I believe I have salt buildup and that makes it easier on her. What will watering with 7.2 water do for about 3 days?

You could prolly use a couple drops of lemon water or vinegar to bring the ph down a bit. If you go to far down you can add a tad of baking soda. Or just dump a bit out and add more tap to bring it back up. Without knowing everything you got going on i recommend loweting that ph around 6.5-6.8. Not sure if your feeding cal mag but a dose ofncal mag with one of these waterings wouldnt hurt.

I dont know what the effects would be, if any....but if youre worried at all, just have her grab a couple gallons of distilled water from the store and use that. Should be fine and perfectly within safe ph range right?

I've run an entire grow over 7... someone... maybe pops did a thread in the last year or two where he ran the entire grow at 7.

7.2 will be fine for a couple days. Would be more concerned with overwatering...
