Hi all, running a gnome anvil in the tent this run with green sunshine earth dust soil amendments
As a living soil.

Just noticed this growth in the top of my soil. I'm guessing it's the good kind of fungi showing a healthy living microbe laced environment-which is the earth dust

OTHO maybe it's some type of damaging mold that I'm unaware of as a rookie grower .

Just double checking with the forum and more experienced growers that I'm correct and it's not something to be alarmed about

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance

Looks like cobweb mold. Nothing to worry about unless you grow mushrooms.

thanks I'm in full panic mode as I lost all my first harvest last year to mold and I'm trying-indoor for the first time-was terrified I would have to remediate asap

If you sprinkle a little baking soda on it, it’ll usually kick its butt. CM loves acidic stuff like peat.

Nothing to worry about. I get the same type of fungus growth on coco. Just means you have microbes in your soil, it’s wet and acidic.

Could also be mycelium but it looks more like cobweb mold to me.
