Indoor So you cant top or clone autos?

So from what I've read and been told, you cant Top Or Clone Autos, Correct????? And if I have a fem seed that sexes to be a male, will the seeds it produces be as good as the seeds it was grown from? Or do you ALWAYS have to pollenate a female with a male to get useable seeds?????

It reduces yield because the plants don't last long enough to repair properly. I tried it with a couple of mine this run and the one's I left alone are the best.

Well you can top and clone some autos not all I was ablt to clone one of my AK47's but this grew to almost 4 feet and took longer so if You was going to try to top or clone I would try a super auto or one that gets big..Just what I think the reg autos go through their cycle a bit to quick for cloning or topping to be effective..but there are some peeps on here that had topped you should look into those strains..def look for a super auto I think this would be the route.
if you germa Fem seed and it turns out to be a male....then I prob wouldnt call it a fem seed but if it flowers like a auto then I would use that pollen and the seeds should be good as long as its the same strain you ordered and the strain is good/stable. if your fem seed turns into a hermie and you pollenate a fem with it your seeds might also become hermie..would be something to try to find out But basically that..Im not a expert on the breeding so someone else could give you better answers to that..

in order to get viable seed that will produce both male and female plants you must pollinate a female plant w/ male pollen. if you were wanting female seed you would stress a female deep in flowering (6-8weeks in)to produce what would be female pollen, that would only produce female plants. on the rare occasion fem seed will produce a hermaphrodite and is not what we want.

everything can be cloned...its just not very rewarding to top a auto because they are on a time table and will yield very little. you give up so much time to rooting the clone you would be lucky to recieve a bowls worth in the end.

Basically it's a matter of practicality. It isn't practical to top or clone most autoflowers since that would hurt your final harvest.
