Hi,

It seems like most people are looking for high yields. But I wanted to start a thread about the opposite. I have started growing autoflowers in a smaller 4x2 tent. So I have found that I have holes in the canopy. My idea is i'd like to move to a perpetual harvest with 2 larger autos in 5 gallon pots, and then as they are finishing flowering and there are some gaps in the canopy, I want to germinate 2 smaller varieties. I don't really want to "waste" an xxl seed or one of the higher yielding dutch passion strains in a 1 gallon pot so I'd like to find a few strains that are really good but known for staying small and would work well in a small pot.

These are sort of bonus/fun plannts. So i don't need big yields. Even if it's lower thc or lowering yield, i'd like them to be sort of "exotic" or more "interesting" (in smell and/or taste) small strains just for fun to put in a 1gal pot and fill the light holes in the sides of the tent.

Can anyone recommend interesting (very tasty or very smelly) small strains that would work well in small pot and fit between the gaps left by a few larger strains? I was thinking something like sweet seeds cream caramel or a purple/red variety (doesn't have to be sweet seeds that was the last website I was on) just for fun. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks

I've grown a few different strains, but delicious candy from delicious seeds and critical jack by delicious seeds both turned out great! The critical jack was very funky cheesy/skunk and the delicious candy had a caramel flavor and aroma. Both finished under 24 inches tall

I grow in small 2-3 ltr pots for the same reason. I like to cram 6-7 flowing plants in my 2x3 tent...gets crowded but the fun of watching several strains flower is a kick. I never grow for yeild, only for healthy plants and variety. One to wake me and get my old ass going and motivate, one to coast through the day and one to knock my old ass out!
I too like smaller plants but it seems most are taller strains now so I just top everything. Then there's always a damn mutant that bullies for more space but I love it.

Thanks. It's good to know i'm not alone. I like variety. I'm always impressed when I see people pull massive yields off a plant, but the idea of only smoking one strain for a few months doesn't really appeal to me. I'd rather have smaller yields of a whole bunch of different strains.

Awesome. Thanks. GSC is one of my favorite strains to smoke. and dinafem ships to Canada. I'm growing their blue critical now and was planning on running their cheese xxl in a 20L fabric pot on the next run.
