Need some expert advise if possible?

Does anyone have an experience of using C02 tablets in a small grow area? I've read mixed reviews on other forums about them but thought I'd give them a go as my set-up does not really justify purchasing expensive C02 delivery equipment.

I'm currently dissolving them in a separate open container in my cabinet and things look really good but don't know if this is partly due to the influence of the tablets or my refined growing technique.

Any comments good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

Excellent Grouch, I'll post the question on there now.

Thanks for that bud, still finding my way about.

if you have active air exchange your wasting your time.

Will they work with the extraction and circulation fans turned off for a while though. If so, how much difference will they actually make?

Sorry to be a pain, I want to know if I've been sold a turkey or not!

Cheers for your reply buddy :peace:

In an enclosed area they can help a bit, but if you have fresh air coming in & it's not going to be much help.
Fresh air constantly being pulled in will give you all the CO2 your plants need, along with other 'stuff' they need too.
If you haven't bought them already, I wouldn't.
If you have, don't sweat it - either return, sell or use them.
There are plenty of DIY CO2 generators around that would work just as well, in my opinion.
So if you haven't bought them but want to play with CO2 - go that route.
There are also O2 tabs you can buy to add to your water - I'm not a fan of those either.

Cheers Thai, I have already bought them and turn the fans off for an hour or so when I first dissolve one. I may as well carry on using them until they're spent.

Thanking you so much
