Indoor Short Stuff Pink Grapefruit

Hey all! I have a single Pink Grapefruit that I am running as a test grow plant to work on my set up and so see how she finishes out for maybe future grows. I am growing her under a 300w Mars Hydro old style LED. She is in Happy Frog soil straight out of the bag with just a little lime add due to a low PH out of the bag. I missed a couple early pictures as she was popping and started pictures on Day 5. My little custom grow box is about 36"x24" and 29" tall. I have a 4" HV fan and a 12" carbon filter all mounted inside the box added stealth. I am going to be using the Technaflora RFS for nutes. There is a simple 2L sugar and yeast CO2 generator. I don't know how much it helps but I feel it can't hurt. I have found Happy Frog soil to be just a little hot myself so I am letting the pot run a little dryer than normal to see if I can slow down the nitrogen up take just a little till she gets some size to her. So far it's working. Today marks Day 15 for her. She is super short and sexy so far. Her internode length is very short. The LED is about 12" above her head. Just a few minutes ago while looking her over for the night much to my surprise it looks like little miss sexy shot out a couple pre flower pistols during the course of the day...Day 15!!!

So here are a couple pictures....Day 5, Day 10, Day 14 and her pistols from today Day 15. In the Day 14 picture she is dropping her leafs because it was about an hour till lights out. Really looking forward to the rest of the grow.

Day 17

Just a quick update on my Pink Grapefruit lady. She is on Day 17 and has nearly doubled in overall size in the matter of 3 days. She is also a few days into flowering. While still very short(which is good for me) she is starting to gain some height and has 4 nice branches that are quickly growing and are almost to the height of the main stem. She will get a feeding of Technaflora's BC Grow on the next watering. She is on a 20/4 light schedule.

Day 20

Here's little update. Little sexy Pink Grapefruit is on Day 20. She is now growing at 1 inch in height per day! I am going to get out the ropes and start to tie her down a little this afternoon. I wish I had a couple more seeds of these to try. It would be nice so I could have more than one plant of the same strain to compare how she is doing. So far I am really happy with her and she is shaping up to be a real nice plant.

Fantastic stealth cab! and that APG (Auto Pink Grapefruit) is doing exactly what you
need her to do....not stretch out but stay really healthy...looking great!



Not really in flowering until veg growth stops (around the high 30's/low 40's day count)
but she's showing you an up skirt so you can tell she's a gal....preflower next!

Other than shooting her first pre flower pistols she is not doing much flowering wise. Just working her veggie legs still just like she should.
