Hello all,

I've been lurking for a while, but decided it was time to dive in. As the moniker suggests, I am an older retired fellow who recently re-entered the weed world after legalization here in Canada. I did an outdoor grow last summer with some Oasis Genetics autos. Learned a few things, and got a bit of weed past the slugs, fungus knats, and mould. It was seriously humid and cool late last summer here is central British Columbia, and the grow paid accordingly even though the plants were protected from rain.

Anyway, I found that the experience rekindled my dormant gardening bug, so I will try again this winter with my first indoor grow (DIY LED in ~2'x4' grow space, probably 2 of 24 Carat, and 1 of Cosmic Queen, both from Mephisto). I have posted a thread re. the LED setup on the DIY LED forum.

I am not much of a stoner, I just use the stuff to assist sleep for now. Nonetheless, I look forward to trying to contribute here. I am very impressed with the overall helpful and supportive attitude here, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the welcome St. Tom, I appreciate it. Choosing AFN was easy - I am only interested in autos for now, and AFN is the place to get friendly and competent advice and information on autos. In my hanging about here, I have been very impressed with the supportive attitude of people on this site. No flaming, no making new growers feel dumb for asking simple questions - lots of other sites could take a lesson or two. I’ll be here for a while, and will try to contribute in kind.
