Question.

Say I'm growing an S1 seed/plant. Can that plant be self pollinated to produce viable seeds that will have similar characteristics to the original S1 plant? Does this create a higher rate of hermaphro-dism and or genetic anomalies? Has anyone used any store bought CS with success? Finally (for now), is their a preferred PPM for reversing autos?

Not sure about the S1's. Have been told that old CS, and store bought is garbage.

PPM should be at least 35. An air pump, during process is needed to get above 25 PPM.

Yes you can easily make S2 plants from an S1. You must use clones, reverse one with cs and pollinate the other. As long as the original S1 was produced by a reliable breeder using sts or cs you should not have any herms in S2.


Regarding your question about pre made cs...
Simply go to radio shack or a similar store, get alligator clips and 9v battery connectors, order some .999 silver wire, get a 9v battery and some distilled water and make your own. It's very very easy. I would say its like a 5th grade science project.
Many people claim they "dont have the time" but it will waste more time if you buy pre made stuff that doesn't work. Making your own takes about 18 hours longer then ordering it pre made.

Local jewelers may also have 99.999 or 99.9999 (fine/pure) 12 gauge wire. I bought long piece, and feed in when it wears away. Also reverse polarity each time, so they wear evenly.
