Hello all,

This is my review of my Seedsman order experience.

My order, placed on September 5:
  • Dinamed Kush CBD Auto Feminised Seeds - 5
  • Pink Kush CBD 30:1 Auto Feminised Seeds - 5
These were the 5+5 special, so my understanding is that I will get 10 seeds each. I am interested in these to play with mixing extract and/or bud with THC varieties. Not to mention that both seem to be rather nice looking plants.

Freebies:
  • FREE - 5+5 Promo 2020 free pack - Seedsman - Green Crack Auto
  • FREE - Autoflowering Freebies – Seedsman Northern Lights Auto
  • FREE - Autoflowering Freebies – Seedsman Amnesia Auto
Not sure how many of each, likely just one, but still, all autos, and all highly reviewed strains I am interested in.

And another Freebie:
FREE - Payment Bundle - Get 4 Lucky Dip Seeds - 2 Strains x 2 Seeds

Don't know what this is, other than 4 seeds, 2 strains, because I paid with Bitcoin. Bitcoin also gave me 15% off the order, which pretty much covered tracked shipping. I used BitBuy to buy coins, and as Bitbuy recommended, Electrum as a software wallet. It was a bit of a fiddle the first time, but it worked fine.

So, in total, 27 seeds for the price of ten, $127 Cdn including shipping to Canada after the 15% rebate for using Bitcoin, for an average of $4.70 per seed, all or mostly all high quality autos. Not bad in my books.

Communication about the order since it was placed was, in my opinion, perfect. Order confirmation was more or less instant by email, and email updates were added at appropriate status points. Tracking was automatic all the way from Seedsman, as of today, to Edmonton in Canada. I expect to get the seeds in a day or two roughly 6 weeks after the order. Slow, admittedly, but I knew it would be when I placed the order, and FFS there is a pandemic on.

More later peeps, but so far, I think Seedsman has lived up to their reputation as a company with spectacular selection, great freebies, and especially during current times, decent service.

 Ok peeps, the final tally. The order got here yesterday.

Original order:

5 Seedsman Pink Kush CBD 30:1 Auto
5 Dinamed Kush CBD Feminized (Auto?) (Auto not mentioned on the tiny label, but no Kush CBD by Dinafed is listed as only Feminized)

For using Bitcoin:
2 Lemon Haze Autofem
2 Super Silver Haze OG Fem

Other freebies, including those from the so called 5+5:

3 Seedsman Jack Herer Fem
3 Auto Strawberry Cheese Cake (Breeder?)
3 Seedsman Auto Strawberry Cheese Cake
3 Seedsman Lemon AutoFem
3 Seedsman Northern Lights Autofem

So, in total, 29 seeds, of which 24 are auto. All interesting strains to me, although I am not sure I will do anything with the Fems. I confess that I misunderstood the 5+5 special, but the selection of strains I received are likely more useful to me than 20 CBD seeds. I would likely have just given a bunch of the 20 CBD seeds away anyway.

Shipping could not have been more discrete. The seeds were sealed inside bubble wrap, and enclosed in a small clothing item that my better half will find useful during her firewood duties (not giving any secrets away here). No return address, labelled as a gift of nominal value.

Now, I need to decide exactly what to grow in my imminent project, and what to make seeds from.

That's it for this review peeps, my summary is that I would not hesitate to order from Seedsman again. If they have what you want, they deliver it for a reasonable price.

Happy shopping, and happy growing everyone. :pighug:

I walked away with a killing from the 5+5 deals a month or so ago. I got 29 seeds altogether for $101 USD, $3.48 per seed. Only having actually bought 10 seeds, I received 19 seeds for free.

I received a decent variety with 6 different stains. My experience was about as good as you can expect, it just takes awhile to get to the US. Always pay for the insurance as they will resend you order if customs snatches it.

Glad to hear that you did well, sounds pretty much like my experience. Seedsman seems to be a good operation, other than some of the in house genetics receiving mixed reviews, which of course need to be taken with a puff or two.

Sadly, I am not sure that the Northern Lights seeds will work for me. Since soaking one, I have been searching the net for information and have pretty much concluded that the Seedsman version of NL is too high risk of me running out of time. I need harvest, drying, and seed collection to be done by mid-ish March, and too many of the grows of this strain go far too long, or don't auto, either of which would sewer the grow for me.

So, in a bit of a re-think at the moment... Most likely I will start something else as a pollen donor and replace the NL seedling if it finally shows up. Still debating about what to try. If I had two Mephisto Cosmic Queen seeds, I know what I would do, but I have only one.

Happy growing @Ryno_nuggs. :pighug:

Ya I'm dying to get some mephisto genetics. I have heard nothing but amazing things about them. The only seedsman genetics I received were some of the freebies. I haven't seen much about the quality] of the seedsman genetics. So their northern lights are a long running strain? You have a lot of time between now and March.:smoker1::baked:

The Seedsman NL seems inconsistent. At least one of the grows on Growdiaries went about six months, and the strain seems to regularly refuse to auto. It is a shame that I have to be clear and done in March, but by the time I factor everything in (start pollenator, wait three weeks to start the mom, grow and pollenate the mom, harvest the bud, dry and at least start the cure and let the seeds mature), March is closer than I would like. What I would need to get done could easily go 160 days or more, assuming that the pollenator and mom both auto, and there are only 145 days left before I need to be clear. So, I may find myself short by two weeks or more, even if both NL plants auto. I might have been willing to chance the duration risk, but when combined with a good chance of one or two auto fails, I am more inclined to do something else.

For now, I started soaking a Lemon Haze auto (not really sure of the breeder, Seedsman did not specify, and they don't list an auto Lemon Haze of their own) and a Seedsman Lemon autofem. I may reverse both of them if they both do well, or select the best if otherwise. If one or both do ok, I will plant one mom of the same two strains and maybe do a cross as well as a sister. The jury on details will be out until I see how the pollenator plants do. In the meantime, the NL seed is still in its dirt, so I will let it be until it has a chance to check whether my soil is too hot. Once it has done that, if it ever emerges, it is off to the compost pile. First time I've done that, and I hope the last.

I like Seedsman quite a lot. I have placed several orders from them and all have arrived. One did get lost and they replaced it for free because I paid for the insurance. My opinion about Seedsman genetics is that they've got it going on with their photoperiod strains. Their Blueberry is really nice. However, their auto strains seem to be hit or miss from my very limited experience and from journals I've read. I did grow one of their Sour Diesel Haze autos and WOW what a plant. So good I grew a second, and that second one seems to have missed a gene or something. Nowhere near as robust or aggressive growing.

Seedsman is hard to beat on selection, indeed. I've used them twice before and the amount of freebies I got was fantastic. Shipping before the pandemic was about what I expected from overseas, 2-3 weeks. If you are patient u won't go wrong with Seedsman.

I'm a big Seedsman fan after having had only one dealing with them, I won in their Big Holiday Giveaway promotion last year and on top of the 150 Euro worth of seeds I won, they also threw in the normal freebies as if I had paid for it and not won it

They have another smaller promotion going at the moment.
