Hello All-

Recently I harvested 2 Girl Scout Cookies and when trimming the buds I noticed a couple of seeds. When I opened the sack it was a seed. No pics so sorry. Anyone else have that happen? They were bought as female auto Girl Scout Cookies

Sounds like the plant was pollinated somehow, most likely one hermied on you at some point.

did you have any heat problems that can cause plants to hermie and you may find the odd seeds here and there

Not really. Temps are between 80 - 85 degrees @St. Tom
that's a little hot but have you had any big swings of cold then hot its normally down to environment unless you have male plants as that pollen gets everywhere or so I'm told that's why i only grow from seeds from reputable breeders

GSC is a Durban poison based cross. It is known for hermaphrodidic instability. Some do... some don't.. its genetics. When running something that has herm in its gene's, you need to be on constant watch for a random pod or nanner to pop.
I spend a ton of time digging in the genetics before I pop a seed. Its unfortunate, but many of the "big name" strains will have the trait. Gorilla glue, anything with blueberry in it, gelato and the gsc line. Many more as well.
