Hello,
Is it possible to take a clone from a flowering auto and reverse it using CS and pollinate another auto clone? If so do you happen to have a link to where I can find more information, or even better, if anybody has any insight into this practice it would be much appreciated. Cheers!

No. Cloning is not practical with autos. They do not start over. They are still on the same timetable as the original plant.

You should read this thread, it is just below your in this section. It will give you a more detailed answer then just "no". Apparently, from testing, I believe the answer is "yes" to take a clone from a flowering auto and reverse it using CS and pollinate another auto clone?

Thanks, I found that thread shortly after reading and missed the chance to delete my post. Exciting times for Autos!

Personally I say waste a seed and reverse the whole plant. Much easier to control and you will most likely have more pollen than you will ever need. I start one seed, reverse, and once the pollen is close to dropping drop a flowering female in with it to allow the magic to happen. You waste two seeds, but should wind up with 1000s.

Agree with @HemiSync if you have the room and the seeds to do it the proper way. But I am going to try to clone a branch on the next "large-ish" Mephisto female auto that I run. You never learn what else is possible if you don't try to push the boundaries.

I have been known, when I only have one seed left, to reverse and self an autoflower. It doesn’t always work because the timing is tight. If I get the pollen to mature enough in time, I can usually pull a few hundred seeds rather than 1000s, but since they are S1s I usually keep what I need and donate the rest to a couple cancer groups I know.

Reversing a clone is a great way to make plenty of beans w other clones.
