Hey AFN,
I am having some troubles to decide which strain to grow next And sadly I can not try them all at once. Some are established Strains from reputable Breeders and some are landrace varieties from all around the world. Help me out will ya? :D

My Cabinet:
60cm x 70cm x 120cm
250w MH/HPS (with cooltube)

Outdoors:
Season roughly from 21 Mars to 15 October

Here is what I have in my "private Seedbank"(fridge):

The established Strains
Dutch Passion - Snowstorm #2 (growing atm)
Dutch Passion - Autoblueberry (growing atm)
Dutch Passion - Surprise Mix (most likely feminized and most selling strains)
Dutch Passion - Frisian Dew
Dutch Passion - Blueberry
DJ Short - F13
Flash Seeds - Purple Mazar
Flash Seeds - Dr. Feelgood
Reserva Privada - Kandy Kush
Short Stuff - Reg Mix
Sensi Seeds - Mexican Sativa (F2 as well and collected some Pollen)
Sensi Seeds - Skunk #1

Landraces:
Cambodia - menthol - psychedelic
China - Yunnan - crystal clear functional high
Laos - spicy - high
Laos - nothing special
South Africa - seems to be Durban Poison but comes from East London(SA)- anise -functional high
Thai - euphoric, social

normal Bagseed
Jesus - one single bagseed from a Guy called Jesus ;) - total couchlock, heavy hitter

Now I know the Landrace Sativas will probably have to wait as I do not have enough headspace in my cab. Do you think some could be manageable if flowered from seed or LSTed heavily? I ran some of the Chinese Seeds outdoors last year as they come from a mountainous region over 2000m and they seemed to grow fine. Sadly I could not finish this grow as access to the site was blocked by lumberjacks working in the area.

Thanks for any help and advice!!!

I'd do a Cambodia, Thai or Sensi Mexican sativa in scrog.

Or purple mazars if wanna go auto...

Good luck and keep us updated;)

Thanks Bal! will do that

I really like the Mexican Sativa (not too strong and great taste after cure) and she will definitely find a Spot in an Outdoor grow this year. Do you think the MS would be a good starting point to get a handle on Sativas and LST in my small indoor Space?

I would love to hit one of the Sativa-leaning MS-F2s up with a nice Flo leaning F-13 Pheno. Or do an F13 Seedrun. Or the inverse take the Polen I collected of the Indica-leaning MS-F2 and hit that on a Blueberry or F-13 and go from there. But I am a scared to mess up my precious F-13 seeds as I have no Indoor Sativa experience (not much growing xp at all to be honest) and my Growspace is not optimal for a long flowering time and stretchy plants.

Same goes for the wild varieties. Also a little scared of hermie-tendencies. Maybe I should just try them out and see how it goes? What do you think?

The Purple Mazar is on my list for this year as well. But I think that it could be more of my winter-weed strain... For those cold nights in the mountains.:coffee: Would be great to have her finish her cure before Christmas.:wiz:

My next indoor grow will be in the 10l Airpots that just arrived today! :dance2:

Save the precious seeds for a time when you'll be more experienced:) The landraces should stretch and your tent will almost certainly be too small for them, but outside they probably wont finish.

I say try growing the simplest seeds to grow and train some scrogging, your next run can be a good sativa. I got some C99 hybrids for outdoors, maybe check them out, fast finish and delicious spicy buds.

*I'm an outdoor guy, I'm mostly guessing about indoor on base of what i read(and seen some grows).

Ok I will keep the more challenging ones in the fridge for now.

Thanks for your reply you really helped me out there!

I will do the Purple Mazar next :check:and then either

-the DP Blueberry (to try out a "challenging" indica and to compare her with the Auto Version)

-or the Mexican Sativa (for the Sativa LST training) indoors.

What would you recommend for the great outdoors?

I may go for the MS and the Frisian Dew and maybe some of the South African and the Chinese Variety (because I want to finally see her in flower and because the smoke was hammer!!!). Little cautious not to get carried away. I have only two proven spots and do not want a Hermi ruin my Harvest...

Heard/Read a lot of good things about C99 and her offspring. Its a Backcross from a special clone from the Jack Herer Line isnt it? Like Cheese is from the Skunk line? I think Cres from Highrise has some Outdoor Varieties with the C99 in them. Did you make the Hybrids yourself? How is the Head/High/Stone? Do you have some Pictures? Sorry for the many Questions btw.

I think I have seeds to play with for a LONG time but if the C99-Hybrids rock maybe in the future I will grow some too. Cant have enough Seeds can you? :D

Anyway thanks man!
:smokebuds:
