Looking to start my first grow in a few weeks, but the question I have to answer is, which seed to start with??

I've been looking over Herbie's and Attitude for a while now, since both come highly recommended (not just from online, but people I know have grown in the past bought from both with great success stories).

For someone like me, it's overwhelming to try and make my choice. I'm used to just getting whatever mexi-grown mid comes around for a decent price. Top shelf bud like this is a new world for me, so I figure ANY of them will be a huge step up, but why not be picky if I can be?

I like a decent body high, but definitely more interested in a good head high (I love to do writing with a bowl in one hand and a coffee mug in the other). They have to be autos (durr) and feminized, but otherwise what would you suggest?

Cant recommend without knowing your growing situation, Indoor or Out? How much room do you have available? Do you have adequate lights? Some varieties are big, some small, some stinky, some not as much. There is A LOT of variety out there but I can confidently recommend anything by Mephisto Genetics right now and if you order directly from Mitch, hell take care of you better than the resellers will. Good luck!

Welcome time traveler
I suppose it depends on what sort of space or setup you have to grow in but if you put a few more details up I'm sure you will get plenty of advice.
I am currently near the end of on my first grow of dinafems blue amnesia auto and I've got to say they are a joy to grow and I've not killed them yet! Lol
Most importantly though read through all the stickies on here and get involved with the site and you will get all the help you need.

This is my journal so far

Happy growing

Good points. Indoor grow, stealth, space is compact; my current box is 22"x20"x9.5", so they'll need to be on the shorter side. Smell shouldn't be a problem; I need to keep odor controlled, but even the mildest plants are going to give off some stink, so I'm planning on aggressively handling odor. Lights SHOULD be adequate; using some LEDs a former grower friend of mine recommended and had good results using, along with mylar coating the box. I'm providing heat with a ceramic warmer attached to a temp controller, so the lack of heat from LEDs won't be an issue.

Look at sweet seeds, easy to grow for starters they are fast ans they all have great taste and smell! Lot of people love the red family autos they are all mostly purple/black buds and smell and taste amazing!

If you like a head high you can achieve that with harvesting early. but defenitly a sativa dominant would be a good suggestion!
if you want to search for strains go to http://www.leafly.com best website out there on strains!

Yep for your grow sweet seeds all the way! don't ask me witch one because thats way to hard to chose .. I recommend the SS 10 seed mix pack killer price and killer strains in it.. :goodluck:

10" high? You wont be able to grow much of anything in a box that small. 20 x 20 x 20 would even be challenging....

22" high, 20" wide, 9.5" deep.

I'm using a large computer case for a stealth box. I'm not expecting to get more than 2 or three plants, short ones at that, inside. I decided on LEDs in the hopes the lack of heat would let me get the most height possible from my grow.

Consider Sour Crack.

Sour Crack is a cross of our 24 carat and an Auto Green Crack in development. Then bred out to be fully autoflowering. Both photoperiod parents are extremely fast and frosty varieties. The Green Crack has the rush high, and the Sour Boggle had the Afghan Narcotic couchlock effect, together they make an incredibly powerful yet well rounded effect.
