Good Morning All-

I recently harvested 2 GSC and noticed a few clusters of seeds. My question is if I germinated a few just to see, will it be males, female as they are autos or who knows what.

i think if they come from fem seeds they will be mostly if not all female but i dont think the auto traits will show up i could be wrong that might be only when breeding two strains together also they might be more prone to hermies again but if ya dont mind a few seeds id say go for it

If it was only auto pollen and auto plants I think it ought still be auto but your definitely right about potential hermies again but sometimes a plant that Herms can have strong genetics and be phenomenal. I recently harvested a photo crop of shmints, Ice cream cake, m.a.c and sugar cane all bag seeds but from top growers and while they did herm I caught most of it so the smoke is as good or better then the original and it only had a few seeds and they are worth their weight in gold to me now. I have too much going and not enough space or I would be running them right now. The bananas bummed me out when I caught them but I'm glad it happened in hindsight.

your dead right about bag seeds hiding some gems bubba kush started as a bag seed and so did train wreck or maybe it was chem dog its just something to be aware like you say

I didn’t see the “ banana pods “ just a few seeds at the bottom of the bud. Thank u @Trichome farmer @Bmurrciless. As I already have 2 Auto White Widow’s going, I’m throwing a few into Solo cups for fun

Female auto herm pollinating self or other auto. Seeds will all be auto. Seeds will all be female. Seeds will all carry the hermaphrodidic gene. Some of the offspring will present, some will not.

A male offspring requires one parent to be carrying a Y chromosome. Herms, while a genetic flaw are still XX.
