Seed harvest by sight?

So i intentionally pollenated strawberry nuggets lower nug. This is what presents today. Split open seed pods? Does this mean theyre about to drop? Can i harvest the branch (its in the window) or should i wait?

I was planning to wait till the 27ish for that branch, but if the few seeds im gunna get are ready... Id rather not lose them. Im only thinking like 5 to 8ish seeds of this cross. Most of the visible swollen pods are split open like that. Some a lil less with the seed barely visable.

Hard for me to tell what im looking at (half blind) but I would wait. You could wrap a cone, made out of paper etc, around the base of the plant to catch any that may fall out. That usually doesn't happen though until the branch is pretty much dead in most cases. I try to let my seeds go as long as possible. What kind of pollen did you use?

Sour crinkle. The mrs and i are calling it reindeer fruit as we will be harvesting it the week of yule/xmas

That one opened early because theres two seeds speading it open, i can see green in the seeds still, they need more time, wait for the casings to yellow.
