New Grower Seaweed extract as a foliar

I hear everyone talking how great seaweed is for your plants but everyone seems to be feeding through the roots - Does anyone have anything to offer about seaweed extract spritzing or brands that you like

I make my own but maxicrop is a brand used by a few growers. When foilar feeding dont use to much and avoid the stuff with added fert mist at lights out and not in flower
