would this be a phosphorus deficiency?

Noticed last night a bunch of fan leaves have developed numerous rust spots.
During veg a couple of leaves got just 1 spot and no more.

Problem - rust spots

Medium - coco loco 2 thirds and natures living soil bottom third of pot.

Water - 6 stage return osmosis.
6th stage adds cal and mag and other minerals.

Strain - Auto Amnesia from msnl
Day 48

Light - Mars Hydro ts1000

Climate - 74f. Humidity 45-50
Yesterday was 81f for a couple hours.

Used only water until Day 37
Day 37 added 1 tsp of molasses with 2 Liters of water

Day 38 2L water

Day 40 added 1 tsp of molasses with 2 Liters of water

Day 42 2L water

Day 43 2L water

Day 44 added girl flower power from natures living soil as a compost tea.

Mix rate was (1) tablespoon of GFP and (1) tablespoon of unsulphered molasses per 2 liters of water

Girl flower power

meat from the heart of hemp seed, coconut water powder, pumpkin seed meal, bat guano, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal and other essential vitamins, amino acid and minerals specifically formulated for the needs of a flowering plant. We also have added microbes that do an amazing job of converting phosphorous.

Day 46 and 47 fed water

I do not have a ph meter, ordered one today that should be delivered tomorrow.

Leaves look very dark, could be lockout from too much nitrogen. Too much nitrogen can lock-out calcium.

Thanks for the reply mate.
So what would be the best course of action.
As I have only added molasses and the natures living soil flower power last week.
Here is the journal if that helps.

I forgot that my soil moisture probe also has a ph reader.Showing a touch under 7 in soil
Though don't know how accurate it is.
I put it in a cup of tap water and it read under 7 and the cup of ro was over 7.

Hi, I had the exact same issue recently but the leaves were lighter green but same rust spots. i Plucked the few leaves that had it and drove on , now they seem fine. I did Panic but I chilled and let nature run it’s course

I’m not real keen about the living soil concept out of the bag . I bought sohum soil and ended up mixing it with fox farm Happy Frog and 70/ 30 coco perlite . I had a real hard time watering the sohum soil , the water just did not want to soak in now it seems good and he’ll of a lot easier to water.

Fingers crossed I get lucky.
Though my gut is telling me my ph is too high.
Been reading up on my ro system and it seems the 6th stage alkaline filter can add .5 to 1 ph.

Every company rep that commented on ph seemed to have different answer.

Positive is that this has got me to buy a ph tester.
Actually bought one when I bought everything else, but it was the cheap amazon one and it read zero,so I returned it and didn't bother buying another ph tester .

The just add water concept drew me in.
And of course I have strayed from that.:rolleyes1:

Everything else seemed a bit overwhelming for my first grow.
Growing in my storage room has thrown up enough environment challenges as it is.

Haven't smoked since November, after smoking every day for 30 years.
Thought if my grow sucks,it should still blow my tits off.

Natures living soil does that shit when you use the layering technique... Better off just mixing it into the medium and watering with ewc tea

I did layering at first with living soil and coco and water poured out of sides of fabric pots. After I mixed it all up it was fine , I did add cal mag after rust spots on leaves appeared but I can’t say for sure it made them go away . Next Time i will just stay away from buying living soil .
