8) Size of container.
started in 18oz party cup, @ 3wks transplanted into 1gal grow bag

Your nutrients and water:.

9) Source of water. (tap or filtered) What's it's ph?
tap, and jugs of distilled + purified .. tap is 7-8 , distilled is 5.5-6.5, purified is 6-7

10) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...)
ebay ph pen. The yellow one. Didnt come with calibration solution though.

11) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)
vinegar and baking soda

12) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.*
Earth juice catalyst .03-.01-.10, Earth juice verde fire grow 4-7-2, growmore kelp extract .10-.10-1.5, grandmas unsulphured molasses, microbe life; photosynthesis + 0-.50-.09, foliar spray and roor dip, vegetable & fruit yield enhancer, nourish-L... given at 1/4 dosage. Only gave the microbe life products once at around 2wks. The earth juice and kelp extract has been fed 2 times . 1/4 dosage. Molasses was used once in conjunction with the kelp. 1/4 tsp

13) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?
water, feed, water, feed. Recently fed twice in a row. Using about 32-40oz and getting good amount of runoff.

14) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...
I used molasses once. 1/4tsp per gal

15) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?
my runoff ph is always too high. 7.0-7.4

16) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph?*
first two waterings I didnt have ph pen. Last 3 were ph 6.5, 6.1, 5.6 in.. and runoff is always 7.0-7.4

17) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?
I did once. 1/4 dose kelp extract + distilled. Ph was like 5.9-6.2.

Whew... thats too many questions..
Anyways, my runoff is 7+ everytime regardless wat ph I water with. Had some brown spotting, purple stems/branches, had some leaves yellow w spots then tips curled up n dried the whole leaf crispy. Some of the side branching seems to have uneven growth like on budsites one new leaf will be bigger than the other. Plant as a whole is not yellow but its not dark green either. More of a light green. Some of the fans and secondary? Leaves have brown tips and spots on the margins?.. its 8" tall 10" wide and smells wonderful though. Any help is appreciated

Oops. . Double post.. mods please delete one. Sorry

Had a problem just a little while back an it turned out to be my PH pen was out of calibration. Just a few things to remember too is the the temp of your water/feed will fluctuate your PH reading if its a cheaper meter. Worth its weight in gold to spend the money on a PH meter the self adjust to the water temp. Heres a link on it - http://www.all-about-ph.com/ph-measurement.html -

iSMOKE--you know I am not a formal diagnostician on PH.

After reading I thought you might be using soil. Your description sounds just like a nute lock out caused by PH--I assume too alkaline with the runoff. I have been there with soil. Just a bit surprised because pro-mix is stable.

Wonder if worm casings have influenced PH. Appears you may need to flush and attempt a PH reset. I have done it many times with soil grows.

If you haven't flushed before the sticky is around and others will come along this thread.

I would go with a Essentials PH Meter and some
pH Buffer 4 & 7 Calibration fluid for EC

get the one with just the ph not the combo one as it has problems

it will pay for its self in no time time

Yea I should probably get some calibration solution. Pen was supposed to come with it but i guess they forgot that detail. I think it cant be far off though as I tested some liquids and it was around the ranges they were supposed to be. Just watered with 48oz of distilled water ph of 5.6-5.7 out the jug. Had probably 6-10oz of runoff w a ph of 7.2-7.3. I think its ph related too, but I cant understand why the runoff ph is always 7.0-7.4 regardless of the incoming water ph. It did kind of explode after I watered with kelp and tap water ph'd down to 6.4. Perked up and gained about 3" in 3 days but its been a steady decline in overall vigor since.. Want to sort it out asap so I can switch it to 12/12. Trying to keep it @ or under 2'. Thanks for the replies guys, any help is greatly appreciated

Still showing issues.. v leaves and tips pointed down. Some browning tips. And spots on leaf margins. Top soil is dry and pot feels light. So think im goin to water it today. No improvement from the distilled water flush. So maybe it needs food. Im thinking 1/2tsp catalyst, 1/2tsp verde grow, 1/4 tsp great white. Ill ph the mix to 5.9 and see what happens I guess. Any suggestions?

Yeah im sure it does need food.. Distilled water contains no trace minerals and will flush out all nutes etc form your medium.
