Hi, The germinated Royal dwarf Auto seed went in the pot last night, woke up this morning and it is a very hot day should I take it out of the green house so it doesn't get too hot or leave in, I've never grown from seed before only cuttings.
I would love any advice on growing autos out side in pots

depends on a bunch of factors but as long as its not over 90 degrees in there you should be fine

my advice for growing autos outdoors is to start slow, since its midsummer the sun will be a bit harsh on young seedlings so dappled light is probably better than full on blazing heat for the first 2 weeks or so. also if your using a 3 gallon pot or smaller make sure you stay on top of watering, letting her get too dry in the final stages of flower could drop your yield significantly, effect the quality of your bud and cause intersex traits to pop up

Thank you, I've brought it outside and put it next to a picket fence so there is a bit of shade on it.
What are Intersex traits by the way, is that something to worry about?

It also helps to cover your pots in cardboard or something like that to block the sun from frying the roots that are right along the outsides (since most outdoor autos are grown in less than15 gallons the heat can get up really quick.

yeah its bad, some people call it hermaphroditism or hermying. cannabis can have flowers with 100% female traits (ideal) 100% male traits or a mix... so like a female that grows a few nanners here and there is like 90% female 10% male but some start off pretty much 50/50, its mostly genetics, a little bit of grower skill and a bit of luck.

you avoid intersex traits by keeping them comfy and avoiding stress as much as possible throughout the grow, if the seeds from a reputable breeder you should be fine.

Good luck on this grow man.

I grew a Royal Dwarf outdoors in the UK and she was a trooper!

(Link to the journal should be in my signature)

I'll stick around for your grow, keep us updated with news of her progress.

Cheers
