Any reason to do this? On one hand you'd expose the plant to more light but maybe it would be disoriented.

Well, if the plants were outside they would follow the sun across the sky. I don't think they will get disoriented.

When you are under a single light source you move the plants around so they all end up with even light in the course of their lives. The only get disoriented when they smoke too much of themselves. ;)

:peace:

Maybe I should ask this differently. I'm growing outdoors in grow bags. Is there a benefit to rotating the plant?

Benefits include more even/balanced growth on all sides and more light penetration.

You get bigger colas on both sides rather than just one side. Also easier to water if you rotate them.

.I always rotate and change location amongst the plants

Very little in my opinion as the sun penetrates enough the difference would be negligible. If turning them won't give you a hernia then it sure won't hurt the plants. Do that before watering for a lighter load.
