Help!

Im a very new grower.

Ive had three different runs and no matter what, I keep experiencing root rot in my DWC setup.

RO Water at 5.8ph
68 degree water
1 inch below net pot
70-78 degrees in the tent
running Remo Nutes at half strength

I cleaned the bucket and tubes/stones with H2o2, removed the VeloKelp out of the nute solution and things looked to be improving after 24 hours, but now everything is back with a vengeance, plant is screwed and Im at a huge loss.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Any way light is getting in. Say clear hoses or not covering the net pot? Just spitballing. :pass:

Thanks for the reply!

Not really, I have them in a hydrobucket with the sides taped to prevent any light leakage.
Good idea about covering the net pot. Any suggestions on that? Guess I could use just about anything. I tried using brand new hoses too!

Botanicare hydroguard or some type of beneficial bacterial is usually recommended. @Mañ'O'Green is off today but he is the hydro expert.

Im actually adding hydroguard, but maybe not enough? It says 2ml per gallon, but who knows. Any change you think my water lines have some kind of bacteria that isn't being filtered through the RO system?

I just used Mylar film cut a hole and slit and put 2 out of line with each other. Myco fungi is what I used to try and help. The only thing that really helped was soaking the roots in a h2o mixed 10 to 1 with water. It been 10 years so you might want to look into it.
