This poor little HBD, was from my first attempt at growing autos, and growing indoors, as well. I planted her is soil that was way too hot. She was immediately nute locked, and barely got any growth. Instead of tossing her, I decided to see what I could do to rescue her. Without a PH meter, I was pretty much using guess work. Those PH drops are not accurate at all, so my attempts were proving to be futile, until I got my PH meter in. After adjusting my water to a PH of 7, and flushing her until my runoff was coming out at 6.5ph, I think she is going to give me a 1-2 gram yield. I have learned a lot from her, which is why I kept her rather than dump her. She has another couple of weeks to go. Unfortunately I also lost my backup plants, due to a yo-yo failure, that dropped my T5 on top of them, so she is my lone indoor plant, until the seeds I dropped a couple of days ago come up. She sure looks lonely under my four bulb 2 ft T5 light. But she will have some company soon.

Here she is. Alright people don't laugh.

Around here we don't make fun of the handicapped.

Well, she sure did get bent! I tried the yo yo hangers once and didn't care for them. Here is too your next grow!

Glad you didn't give up on her. Good vibes sent for you to turn this:

Props for fighting it out!

I have some pictures just like that, somewhere... that's the exact same way I learned not to ignore "all this pH business". If this convinced you of the importance of regulating your pH, the lesson will pay huge dividends in the long run.

Oh Yeah,
for sure, that lesson is learned. I am just glad that I learned this early on. It could have been a much more expensive lesson, if I would have completely filled my room, before I learned this lesson. It was much nicer learning this with one plant rather than 6.

Well,
I really thought she was close when I started this thread, but after she recovered she really started flowering in earnest.
Though it is a crappy pic, I think you can see that she is putting on more flowers. She is also starting to frost up, and stink like fuel.

At least I will be able to get something out of her, rather than just a learning experience. Just a little heads up for newbies. If they aren't dead, keep trying. You might be pleasantly surprised.

P.S. I have not watered since the flush, last week. The soil is still moist, and I am a bit worried about that, but I think she will be OK. So I refuse to stress.

Very well said, Homie. The lessons you learn nursing this girl back to health might prove useful later with a plant 10 times bigger.

I get ya.
Nice work with the micro bud I'll bet it tastes amazing.

I have had a similar experience.
When I started growing in February I was using regular seeds and 6l pots. I planted 2 lowryders and got 1 male and 1 female. I tossed the male and planted 4 new seeds in those expanding peat pucks.

When the time came I selected the best one for potting, kept one and discarded the other two. The one I kept in the peat puck stayed tiny. It got knocked over all the time and it was battered and bruised. I took the piss with it and used it to conduct experiments. I was pouring raw biobizz into it at one point to see what would happen. I was truly amazed that it survived so at about 5/6 weeks in I put it in a tiny pot I found in the shed.

When it came to collect I got a single, exquisite, tear-drop shaped, lollipop of a macro bud that weighed about 2g lol I swear it was nicer than the big one and packed with crystal.

I took it to my mates house, we had a laugh and it made us a couple of joints each. True story ;)

I chopped her today.
It was a bit early, about 50% cloudy Trichs, but I needed the space and she was going to be a low yield-er, so I took her down. IMAG0121 (Custom).jpg
The test nug I took a few days ago, was destroyed by fire for a wake and bake this morning. Though lacking the optimum flavor, due to the lack of curing, she had a surprising up buzz, with just a touch of muscle relaxing meditative quality. There was a hint of berry, when exhaled through the nose, but other than that, not much flavor. I am looking forward to trying it after a bit of a cure, after drying the main bud.
Have a great week
