Reputable Sex Testing Vendor

I'm about to test some new genetics. I won't know anything about the seeds. I do know they are photoperiod, but that's about it.

So, to avoid wasting time with a potential male plant, I would like to send seedling or early veg leaves out for testing.

Can anyone here recommend a lab that does sex testing from leaves?

I'm looking for someone who is geared to receive the samples in the mail and send a report via email or however they give you results.

Not sure there be enough of a market for it....I'm sure someone wouldn't mind taking your money but by the time you mail it in, they do the test, and get around to emailing you back......well, why not just stick with watching the plant for the signs?

They'll send you cards that you squish a leaf on and mail it. They'll email you back the results in a couple days. They're in Washington DC

It saves time and effort if you're growing regular photo seeds. You can take a sample at 2 weeks old and know the sex in a couple days. Helps for places with plant counts so you don't have to throw away half your outdoor plants . Also good if you're taking cuttings since you don't have to wait for the mother to flower to find out the sex

I ordered 4 x test kits. With a discount code (and cheapest mail to me) it was less than $15 a leaf/test.

I'll ask my next question here to see if I need to start a new thread.

There's no testing available anywhere within a days drive from me, so I'm no help there. I know some hydro stores in certain states will do testing for you. There's a device called a t-check you can buy to do your own general testing. A couple people around here use them. Tag in @derek420colorado I know I've seen some tests he's had done. Might be able to steer the right direction

Thanks, I saw the T-Check and it is close to $400. Although, I'm not ruling it out. I have a feeling a lab test of this type is quite a bit more than sex testing, so I can see the long-term advantage. Plus, it would be nice to have for testing edibles.
