New Grower Regular and female auto flowering seeds

With regular seeds you will gets some males and unless you wanna breed with them they are useless. Males auto flowers the same as females.

This is one of those things that you have to answer for your self. Yup it is ten seeds for the same price as 5 female seeds.

Males are a pain in the ass if you really don't want them for breeding. There is a problem with using regular seeds (unsexed).

1. A male can pop up and go unnoticed and ruin your whole crop.
2. If you have to yank a male it can ruin your spacing in an outside garden.
3. Potting up a male takes effort and materials that just end up being a waist of material and labour.
4. If you intend to clone off of a plant you will have to sex regular seeds to find out if it is a female before you put all the work into it. A female you can just go ahead and clone off of.
5. If you are going to plant where you have to walk and haul planting materials a male is just a waiste of effort.
6. If you are going to plant and leave the plant on its own then you really want to make sure it is NOT a male. Pollin is wicked polution for yourself and others who may be growing near by.

I used to buy reg seeds and spend all time growing them mostly photos, wait all summer just to find out that one quarter to one third were males and pulled them .I spen a little more money for fems and I know what I have from the start.

I could not agree more. Regular seeds and spending your time to grow out males just is a pain in the ass. Femmed seeds is so the way to go. I remember the day when if you said that the scholars would jump on you with 20 pages of book learning to show you how you were ruining the gene pool. Now they seem to have all disappeared. Who says things don't get better.

Autoflowering simply refers to the light cycle. The plant will automatically flower without regards to the light its given hence "autoflower" It has nothing to do with the sex. Traditionally Cannabis is grown using photo period strains...meaning to induce flowering so you get buds you have to switch the lights to 12 hours on 12 off. With autoflowering you can run the lights 24 hours a day from start to finish and it will "auto" flower regardless that there is no night.

Feminized Seed is seeds that are 99% chance of being female. For all intents and purposes its usually 100%. If you buy regular seeds you have a random chance of 50/50 50% male 50% female. Thats why there cheaper.

Not worth buying regular seed in my opinion. Thats space, soil, nutes etc all to discover that you have a male..unless you want the male to pollenate.

It depends on if you want to buy that strain again, If you buy reg seeds you can grab a fem and all your males and move them a mile or so around the hill and let them do the dirty. Then you are set for that strain and can do another the same way on the next grow.
