Ok, so I am planning my grow room and was considering using FRP panels and was told not to use reflective material, just a flat white wall was the best. Is that true?

I'd go with a flat white paint since it absorbs heat (rather than reflecting it back) and it's very inexpensive.

I use Orca Grow Film. The stuff is amazing. Second is just a good washable flat white paint.

When I first started, I tried aluminum foil but after 2 days, I switched to flat white. Now I use panda film.

FWIW, I finished the inside of my growdrobe with flat white, and it worked great. Reasonably cheap, available at the local building store. What's not to like?

You might gain a few percent reflectance with higher tech options, but I doubt that a few percent of reflectance means a lot compared to the light the plants get direct, especially in a larger space where walls are further away from most plants. The plants in my first grow in the growdrobe suffered from too much light, not too little.
