Hi,

Can someone plleeeaaassseee help me?

I have a Blueberry Auto and a Northern Lights auto, which are currently on week 11.

I'm not sure if they're ready to harvest, or not.

The blueberry looks fine, but the Northern Lights is growing new pistils.

Can someone please give me some advice? This is my first grow, as you can probably tell lol

Thank you.

Both look great! The NL still needs a bit of fattening up. I guess a week or two...
I would start checking the trichomes with a scope or jewelers loupe and base your harvest on that.

Thanks, AutoBobje.

I had a problem with the NL, and all the leaves went yellow too quickly. I'll leave it for a bit and see what happens.

I've got a jewellers loupe, and checked the trichomes. They are mostly cloudy (I think). I couldn't find any amber trichomes.

Cheers.

I'm growing Northern Lights as well right now, week 13. Still waiting on amber, I've harvested about 6 ounces so far and it's not bad at all. Waiting to see what happens in a few days. When I harvest a branch they still appear greenish. Anyone grow NL autoflower for 100 days? A little burn on that one plant only.

Day 103 here on a Nirvana NL, still getting fatter, and developing pistols. I only have a few cloudy T’s with about 20% Brown hair. I don’t think the foxtailing has helped which was caused by stress due to broken/repaired branches.

I never like being the barer of bad news, but that NL plant has weeks to go still before it's ready. And it doesn't look like it will have enough fan leaves to get it to harvest without a solid loss of quality. I was going to explain how cannabis plants (buds) will make new pistils at the end of life as a last ditch effort to try to get pollinated. But that's not what's happening in those pics. That NL plant is not at the end of life. The plant is sick, and it's development has slowed. It should be further along than it is. The common NL photo period has a long flower period of 11-13 weeks.. Every NL auto I've grown went 13 weeks from germ, or a tad longer.

Wow, well thanks for the analysis. Does the picture on the left look fairly normal to you? There were 5 plants, and the one that has the brown tips matured a little slower than the others, all received the same care and nutes, but it started having the brown tips about 3 weeks ago. The others are green and heathy as far as I can tell. This is my first auto flower grow. There are a fair amount of fan leaves below the top bud. Well, we will see how it turns out. The buds I already harvested are pretty good in my opinion. I'm going to start some White Widow auto's very soon to take over once these are out. Any advice would be appreciated.

Stay positive. It's a learning game. You'll get better at it next time ;)

If it's homegrown and you've put all that hard work and love into it. It is the best there is.

Good for you! Keep learning and growing. Enjoy your bountiful crops :smoking:

Well my Northern Lights are all foxtailing now. Temps are kinda high like 90. Moved lights farther away and dimmed a little. Probably too late. Is it best to harvest now or wait for a while? I hear potency can reduce after this happens. I am OK either way.
