Welcome to AFN :)

They don't look bad ... just a bit small.
I've done easy riders before.
I can see a couple of small problems - firstly i would have filled those pots right to the top with soil - autos love a nice deep pot for root depth.

I'm guessing that giving them bloom nutrients too early has stopped them from growing big too - I would have just used the grow nutes unti vertical growth had stopped and then started with the bloom nutes.

There's some great info in the stickys in the new growers forum.

The life cycle of an autoflower by muddy, and Full duplexes guide to growing hefty autos in small spaces.

Definately worth a read! :)

Hope this helps a little

Hey fella howareya.. half-paddy here. Welcome to the forum.

Ok.. there's no easy way to go about this so I'll just come out and criticise everything I can see and make you feel really bad about yourself. Cos I'm kinda like that ;)

Nah I won't really but being a true guiness-blood you'll probably get my dry humour. I hope. :D

Anyway back to the girls..

In my opinion (others may disagree), the first thing we need to stop doing is feeding with every watering. We want about one feed in every three at the most at this stage.

Other than that they don't really look too bad to me, maybe the beginnings of overfeeding. Ok, they are quite stunted but that's not anything we can deal with at this late stage so you'll have to live with it and improve on the next grow. All we can really do is get them to the end as best we can so for now the next 2 things I'd be doing if they were mine is waiting for the soil to be properly dry and then water with plain water. If you have a ph pen or other way to measure and adjust the water I would adjust it to ph 6.5 and then do that again for the next watering.. just plain water at 6.5ph if possible.

Then mate.. it's a case of keeping the environment as close to perfect as possible for the last coupla three weeks til they finish. Try and keep the temps around 25c and humidity around 30% if you can as it'll help them put on a little more weight in the buds and a few more crystals (allegedly).

They're quite cute actually. Stick around the forum fella and get prepared for your next grow. We can figure out why they're so small in due course and make sure the next ones you grow are bigger.

:peace:

Welcome to the forum. I agree, they look fine, we're probably stunted a bit earlier on in the grow which stopped them from getting bigger. At this point they won't get any taller but the buds will continue to fatten up. You should still be able to get a descent harvest from them.

Yes, check out the New Growers forum. Lots of good information there and we're always glad to help out and answer your questions.

Thank a mill 4 dat, total noobie. Still tryn 2figure how 2post. Will they get any fatter?they don't look like they will yield much.

Sorry mate, but I strongly disagree with this. IMO autos do best when given a lower dose of nutrients with every feeding. Given that they normally go about 4 days between feedings only feeding every 3rd time would mean almost 2 weeks between feedings. That's just not enough, especially in veg where you need to get them as big as possible as fast as you can.

In my opinion (others may disagree), the first thing we need to stop doing is feeding with every watering. We want about one feed in every three at the most at this stage.

Thanks for clearing that up muddy!! - I was getting myself into a panic and about to ask you that very question! :)

Cheers big man, wits da right amount of water 4feeding dem.they always seem thirsty.

Hey muddy - Just before you cleared up the feeding question, i went back to re-read the life cycle of autoflowers, and didnt find the feeding info i was looking for.

Maybe it could be added to the article?

Just a thought!
Thanks for your efforts!
