I'm running 2 - 2 site RDWC systems using GH FLora series nutrients. When I change out my nutrients my ph of my solution is 5.5 ish EC 0.8. Within a few hours the Ph raises to around 6.0 then a few more hours goes to 6.2-6.3 EC 0.8. I ph down to 5.8 then by the next day ph is around 6.2 EC 0.8 but steady. After 48 hrs i can adjust the ph on my solution to whatever level i desire and she holds fine. I was wondering if this is a normal with a fresh nute change or am i missing something?

Yeah, thats normal @Diamond Dog Hair
. PH swings in all media tend to be going low to higher over time (most).
Its just easier to observe in dwc as opposed to the buffer of soil etc and something you need to monitor at least daily.
Some nutrient lines offer a stable pH system, but not sure what characteristics GH series shows.
Bit o' research will help.
Good luck.

btw am not 100% sure but be careful of mixing PH plus AND PH minus in same batch, think it has side effects. (I use lemon juice n bicarb n wouldn't mix unless I was making co).

Cool thx for the confirmation of normalcy with the swing.

and to BTW the mixing of Up/Down in the same batch. Thanks for reminding me. That's probably why the hydro guy at the store told me that if I have to use Ph Up you are best to make a new batch of Nutes.
