Oklahoma City here! This is my first legal auto grow. I wanted to thank everyone on here for sharing their ups and downs with their grows! This forum really made it easy to switch to autoflowers. My results are a little less than I expected but still decent! I started all of this on October 27th and I was able to harvest my first plant Cream Mandarine Auto which produced a little over 1.5 ounces dried. I figure I have about 2 weeks to go on my other plants. My setup is a 36x36 tent, 2x chilled logic v2 100w pucks and one 3500k 90 cri 3590 cree on a 19/5 schedule. I used a 50 50 mix of happy frog and ocean forest with some extra perlite. I used walmart distilled water with emerald harvest cal mag and a few of their other hydro products in this soil grow. I plan on trying to do a rdwc grow with my new current culture setup after my next soil grow. Ill try and keep this post updated as the rest of everything matures.

Might I suggest a cheap RO for your future endeavors. You obviously know the importance of water if you're buying distilled... definitely worth the grab for 9² feet of floorspace. The main super cool new toys vs old school are AFN, pH pens, affordable RO systems, TENTS, Airpots, Canna Coco, remote thermometer/hygrometer, and modern high end LEDs....and MEPHISTO GENETICS!!!! Airflow is still super important, but heat buildup is SO much less these days without HPS that it's so easy to whip up a spot. Grab some Phisters.

I embrace most of the new tech I have come across. Athough vita lights and phototrons were the cats ass lol. I may try a coco coir grow. i am not liking the weekly waterchange requirements of rdwc even though i just blew over grand on a 4 pot setup. It seems like one bag of soil is different than another from fox farms so maybe coco might be more consistent. Ill have to look into ro water . I have a small rodi unit left over from my saltwater reef hobby but it was kinda $ to do maint on it every month and buying water has been a cheaper way to go.

Check out the 4 stage RO Buddie from Aquatic Life. It will do about 2½-3gph and it's $59.99 with free shipping. As long as you use it regularly, you will get a solid year out of the membrane, and all 4 filters are replaceable. There is an activated carbon filter, a mechanical sediment filter, a deionization stage and the RO membrane. They also have a 3 stage which is about 8 bucks cheaper. It will get the water down to low single digits if not zero ppm and no more lugging water around. For coco I stand behind the Canna Coco bricks. You get four in the package and I buy them locally for $15 because they are cheaper, but they are available everywhere. I've seen people struggle with off brands more than once right out the gate....check the Canna website, it's pretty cool, they have complete control from Palm tree to package. They let it sit out in the sun for a long time and use filtered fresh water to rinse it. I think some of the cheaper guys use salt water and their blending isn't as good and shortcuts are the norm. I've heard Fox Farms makes decent stuff too and I've always liked all the stuff they sell, so I bet it's right. I would stick to those brands with a preference for the Canna if you can get it. Coco plants do real well with the badass Airpots, but you can make your own with a saw or drill, or some waste paper baskets like we did. You can grow some big plants in coco for thr size of the containers...I like about 3gal pots with a bunch of perlite thrown in for normal ladies. Also this LST thing is gravy....I used to top almost all my photos, but autos are too fast for that and in my opinion do better with LST almost every time. Bend them bitches and open em up. Get a dozen nasty colas or so. Short fat wide plants with mad tops that finish quick and blow your mind. Autos are fun. I'm about to start something for the new year. Happy New Years buddy, welcome to the automatic club.

First two are the legendary GWK and the 3rd is AVT. All from Mephisto. The AVT got away from me in the last week from a faulty pH pen. That's why you use two so you are sure. Lesson learned...lol. It was still some absolutely fire dope. Tastes like fresh ruby red grapefruit. It even takes your breath away like a real grapefruit does and it smells the same. Try some choice Mephisto beans and bend em. Check out the LST guide by A-Train. All under Citizen cobs with coco. Also got over a pound off a DWC Auto Euforia from DP, but I sold that. DWC is insane, but the coco works gravy and is much more manageable.

Well im getting closer! The cream mandarine auto seems to have put on more weight than the gg [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] auto on the right but the gg#4 is way more sticky. Im happy with the results and after reading on this forum i have some new things to try with the next go around. Hopefully this gals will finish off im at day 74 on the cream mandarine.
