Welcome AFN to my Second Outdoor Grow!!!
Hoping to get some more sun for these plants than did last round.

I have been prepping for about a month now. I am going to run 4 plants in all recycled soil.
I will be using 3 Grass Roots fabric pots (two 7 gal & one 10 gal) & 5 gallon random fabric pot that I grew Jean-O's Voodoo in.

The Voodoo fabric pot was FF Ocean Forest w/ some added perlite and will be amended with G&B Organics 4-4-4 and some dolomite lime before transplant.

The Grass Roots Fabric Pots have the old recycled soil from the last outdoor run. I dumped both pots onto a tarp then added the 4-4-4, dolomite Lime, Earth worm castings and Mycos. Got it nice and wet and let it sit in the tarp for the last couple weeks. Man this soil looks, feels and smells great. I am excited to use it, some dark fluffy goodness. I just filled the pots up with this mix and watered in with quijalla and recharge. Then added barley straw as a mulch. They are on the south side of the house.

Genetics
I made a list of different cultivars I would want to run outside and let my wife pick them. These are the 4 that she landed on:
1) Speed Run Seeds - Iced Latte (Hybrid)
2) Atlas Seeds - Grease Gun (Sativa Hybrid)
3) Twisted Tree Freebie - Pure Michigan x Twisted Cookies (unknown)
4) ILGM - Blueberry (Indica)

I will be starting them indoors in solo cup sized pots and transplanting after they have established for a week or two. I made the mistake of placing the cups on the ground after they popped under a rather large plant and they stretched a bit. They have recovered nicely but still much lankier then I like. I have been placing them outside the last 4 days to get adjusted to the sun. The first day was 45 min and today was 2 hours. I will continue this process for a couple more day then look to transplant into their forever home. They were put in their cups 2 days after germinating on January 23. All popped out the next day with helmet head.

Transplant Day 1/Day 18 total
Day 18, these plants got a slow start like mentioned before, but seem to be making it up and Im happy how they look today. Roots were looking quite good as well, love seeing this little root hairs. I transplanted all of them today, its nice and sunny out but windy...of course. The little supports I gave them seem to be holding them up just fine.

Simple transplant, all I do is add some Mycos to the roots and in the hole then add a tiny bit of water after shes in the soil. The little pots were on the dryer side.

Day 13 outdoors/Day 30 total
Sorry i havent been updating things as much as I would like. Life stuff. These poor plants, when I transplanted them it was sunny in the mid 70s. Then it got cloudy and cold over the next week and they have been looking sad and droopy. We have finally gotten some sun and have been back in the 60s and they are happy and vigorous again. I think the pots were a little over saturated during the transplant too.

Of course its going to get cold and rainy over the next week. Im going to build a tarp cover to combat the rains a bit. Next year I think I will skip the outdoor from December to February. Too cold and wet for even suboptimal growth. I will also be starting my IPM regimen soon. I should have already started it. But I spray with a mixture of an essential oil (10 or so drops) along with 1/8tsp of Agsil16H potassium silicate as an emulsifier in a 24 oz bottle. I like to use rosemary, lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus oils and rotate using a different oil each week.

I also had extra soil about a week ago so I filled another 5 gal pot and tossed a Mephisto freebie (CDLC x Forum Stomper) x Forum Stomper in. Because of the cold weather she took a week before I saw any sign, but shes slowly popping. A little experiment.

Day 38 Grease Gun
Its been really rainy, cloudy and cold the last week plus and it will continue for the next week. All the plants were either put in mini green houses or in the hoop house. All have thrown out pistils as well.

Day 53 Blueberry
It has been very cloudy and rainy still in Southern Cali. Still waiting to get those sunny days back. This is the smallest girl so far but all the bud sites are getting purple. I will be top dressing with flower fertilizer in the next week. They have also have been sprayed twice with my rosemary oil mix. I will be switching to Eucalyptus oil next.
