hey guys i'm currently running a 150w hps in my 2x2 tent just wondering how a blackstar 240 will compare is it better than a 150 or the same?

IMO it should blow the 150 away. Not only more light per sq. ft. but a fuller light spectrum. Plus in a 2 x 2 tent you will be growing within the core penetration of the light, always preferable.

thank's muddy was hoping that would be the case but wasnt sure cause i read somewhere that teh actual draw was like 133 or something like that so just wanted to make sure! yah had to make the switch because the temps with the 150 were constantly at 85 and the buds were jut coming out way to airy for me cant wait for it to show up and get some seeds under it

I think you'll be pleased on how it does for you, especially in a small area like that.
