Well today i was reading up on some info on autoflower breeding and came across a few other people on a different forum saying if you inbreed a strain for a few generations it will no longer be a autoflower or the genetics will get screwed up is this correct?
Example say you buy regular lowrider seeds cross the male and female from the bunch those seeds should be the same gentetics right and after doing the same thing with the future seeds inbreeding Male x Female will they turn out to be the same as what you started with ?

Sorry if the question doesn't really makes sense I'm not good at explaining things in writing..hahaha

As long as you don't get your genetics mixed up with something else the strain will not change. There may be variation in phenotype but thats about it.

Hey neostar, hope you are well, man.

Excuse me if I am being rash or blunt, but I probably wouldn't listen to those dipshits on the other sites when it comes to Autoflowering Cannabis. If you cross two Autos they will indeed be 100% Auto, everyone of them, or at least about 99% which is the same anyway. There are cases when Autos don't auto.

And the only way that the genetics will go screwy is if you keep breeding crappy plants. Whatever two that you cross, some characteristics of each will be carried on. So if you keep crossing short runts, hermies or other stressed plants or crappy or non wanted phenotypes, then yeah you will eventually screw that up. Which is why you only cross the best looking ones. Hope this helps.

Those people on the other forums are so full of crap it seems to be backing up and flowing out of their mouths. Don't worry, auto genetics don't degrade. If you cross a lowryder to a lowryder you get a lowryder. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hey Squidherb I'm doing great man :)
Yea I'm pretty sure they didn't know what they were talking about ....

Good.

And yeah, I bet they didn't. Oh well, not trying to knock em but all I hear about the "other guys" is that they're basically a buncha snobby, close-minded, ass-holes. They're just mad because they can't figure out Autos. :crying:
