Hello everyone
I have a question regarding tiering. Once the plant has been tiered. Do I water the cup or the pot?

here you go mate. its from fd's guide. the thread is stickied in the indoor growing section. here is a link

"Here is the nice part. Once you have done this the area of the cup is the only thing that still needs watered until you notice the plant getting fairly big. Once it gets to a decent size, usually once the leaves reach out past the cup, i begin to water the whole pot. This method has doubled the size of the plants i am growing in the small space. Not only has the plant size increased but the yield has too."

Thank you snooch.
Just to clarify I water the cup itself until I notice it getting bigger (roots hitting the pot) than I start to water the pot correct?

That sounds right to me :)
I think the idea is to prevent over watering

Just take it out of the party cup ,carefully and put it into its final pot.I have been growing auto's for ten years .I transplant twice from party cup ,to medium container, to final container.I have never seen any difference in a plants yield due to proper transplanting. I have done both ways. Infact my last run of sweet seed s.a.d. the 2 plant i transplanted several times( due to not having room in the grow room for larger containers at the time) ended up being the biggest and best yielding plants.
