Indoor Question about the step after germinating..

Have been searching for an exact answer to this, but have found conflicting answers. Any help would be appreciated. Seeds were germed and showed a very small taproot. Then put in soil and in tent. Should the lights be on or off? Should they be on 18? How wet should the soil be?

damp not WET like mud make sure its always damp tho i put them about a finger nail deep in the soil and cover them lightly then i keep my light on, but you don't have to because plants need the light untill there first set of leafs but i do because if im sleeping and they pop i want them to see light always works 100% for me DO NOT LET THE SOIL DRY OUT WHAT EVER YOU DO but also dont over water them the first 10-14 days are very very impotent
