Sooo. Im about to try my had a reversing my first female plants using cs spray. Ive done a bunch of research and prep. My question has to do with technique. If I choose two females and spray just a single branch from each plant, once the pollen sacs form and look ready to open, can I just cut that branch off and collect the pollen that way? Or do I have to leave the branch attached and risk open pollenation of other plants? Im trying to figure out the best way to reverse a female while other autos grown at the same time.. Without pollinating them all. I dont have a separate grow space for male plants.. And even I did, there is still a high probability pf cross pollination because it would have to be near the primary tent.

Any suggestions are appreaciated.

best bet is to make a small CFL box to keep your femmed girl in once she starts dropping pollen, youll need to keep the branch attached to the plant until it starts dropping pollen so by then it will be too late to avoid cross pollinating to undesired plants in the same room. the CFL box is a cheap way to keep them seperated once balls start forming. or u can just leave her in the room and if you get a few extra fem seeds whats the harm?

Thanks for the response!! I thought about just leaving the reversed plant on there. I just didnt want super seedy bud from the other plants. If I just do one branch on two plants (I'll have a total of 9 running at once in 1 gal pots) would that produce too much pollen and make all the other plants super seedy. Im good with just a few..

An entire plant reversed will produce more pollen than you could ever hope to use but it comes on gradually.
It starts with a few flowers showing bananas inside, you can pick them easily and harvest the pollen easily without making a big mess but over the next week to 10 days she will turn to a mass of bananas all of which are filled with pollen and start to open naturally.
You can not contain the pollen.
Separate room is a must now. Keep her for 10 days or so collecting the pollen and then chop.

Imo a full plant makes way too much pollen and requires way too much colloidal silver.
Do a few lower branches only is my advice and then use the rest of the plant to make edibles.

Next time Im going to try adding yucca extract to my colloidal silver to lower surface tension and increase the silver uptake

Thank you @Aunty Edna !! That helps alot! But just to make sure I understand correctly..
I can cs a lower branch or two and keep the cs plant in the same grow room and when it starts growing bananas, I can pull those off with like tweezers and harvest the sacs and collect the pollen shortly before they open on their own. Then after I collect the bananas/pollen I can turn the rest of the plant into hash.. Is that correct? I hope so. I'd hate to have to set up a separate grow space

You can do that, at some risk of pollination, but it wont be too bad.
By the time they start to open naturally its probably safe to remove the branch and put it in a glass of water

I've tackled these dilemmas in my own ways. The advice previously mentioned is spot on! But there's a few ways to skin that cat. I've taken clones as soon as I see preflowering or just before from the lowest undeveloped branches. These can be reversed and pollinated. I pulled 40-50 Off a gorilla glue clone and it was only 5 inches tall. Another sister clone was reversed next to it in the same 1 gallon pot.

But to isolate pollenation in a single grow area I used a clear plastic tub w a latching lid . I cut an intake vent on the side of it and taped a piece of high quality air filter material over it , then repeat this at the highest point with an axial fan drawing air out. Melt a few holes for watering hoses made outta clear viynl hoses that will land in the pots of soil. Add plants after pollensacks form. Plug the fan in to create a negative pressure that keeps stray pollen inside. Then add to the grow area. As long as u pull it out to open it in another room and then spray it down w water after u close it before putting it back in the grow.

If u Google male cannabis isolation chamber u will see several examples. Total cost isn't much and it's super easy to do !!!!

When I only spray a branch I cut it right before the first sack opens and place it in a glass of well water with my house plants.
