Hey all,

First time grower here. I’ve noticed some nutrient burn on my plants. A few leaves have even curled up. I usually feed every other watering (I’m in soil). I watered with PH’d water last night. Do you guys recommend another plain watering before I feed again, or just go lighter on the feeding next time around?

Appreciate any insight!

Here is a pic from last night:

I would definitely do another round of plain water, and you might want to start doing 2 waterings between feedings for the rest of the cycle. It’s probably a good idea to water to just a little runoff on the next watering, if you haven’t been doing that occasionally nutrient salts will eventually build up in the bottom of your pot.

Plant is looking good, but it is through the heavy feeding part of its life cycle. Looks like it’s done, or very close to done stacking flowers and is heading into the ripening phase. Once they stop stacking flowers nutrient demands drop off significantly. I think the level of nutrient burn you are seeing is totally manageable, but I would feed cautiously for the remainder of the grow. Overfeeding at this stage will drastically slow ripening and reduce overall quality.

Your plant is looking pretty good for the most part.
Nice job for your first time out! Add an extra watering, feed very cautiously and I think you will end up with a nice harvest.

Be aware that it may get a little worse before it starts to recover, but resist the urge to do anything else, just water and mild feeding and I think you will be good.

good luck!

Appreciate the help! I think I will do another plain watering before feeding again. I usually water til slight run off, but I may water a little heavier next time to get more of a runoff. Do you think the flowers are done growing? Or just new ones are done producing? I do have a few calyxes that haven’t popped yet. Again, thanks for the advice!

She will probably grow a few more flowers as she is transitioning to ripening, but it think is mostly done growing new flowers. The best part is about to begin, flowers will up to double in size and add even more weight as they ripen. It’s very gratifying to watch the flowers slowly swell and begin to droop over under the heft of their own weight. Enjoy the rest of the grow!

He did an EXCELLENT job for his first auto grow, imo. Better then I did.
Absolutely!

Nice job getting her to this point! As others have said, I think feeding is about done. Once a week now should be it.

indeed a great job! perhaps a little phos excess. But that's often to happen with ph- but keep on doing what you did, it will only get better.
the tips are most vulnerable anyway.
They may have also some slight overwatering symptoms, but really nothing to worry about.

"Party on wayne!"

Theres a P deficiency somewhat and he may have watered close to taking that pic. But better job then 90% of new growers have done.

Damn, appreciate the compliments! Can’t wait to watch them fatten up. I will be more mindful of nutrients on my next grow. Will go a little lighter I think. I did go ahead and order small hygrometers, some fisker pruning shears, grove bags, and a loupe. Definitely want to get the dry/cure process down as well! Trying my best to be as patient as possible…lol
Again, thank you all!
