Indoor question about lights

i have 3 150 watt hps fixtures----would this work in a 2x4x6 ft area better than 1 400 watt---or would a single 4oo hps be better ?150s do ok but i think more power would be better. any advice would be appreciated

400 all the way bro or 240 led with some cfl side lighting .
