is it possible to prolong vegging an auto? I have heard others on other forums say they can control it. If the plant is not photo sensitive how can you prolong it?

Switch pots from small to large halts vegative growth. Super cropping halts chosen stems to halt in growth for about 3 days. That's all I know of.

We have a funky uhh... Circadian rhythm says the dictionary. Anyway, last summer when my friend and I grew out out first ever cannabis plants (NL auto and AKR) outdoors, they showed sex at five weeks or so.

Now, they were horribly stunted anyway. Despite that I do believe increasing the amount of light tells the plants to hold up with the hormones. I'd try it out now that I grow indoors, but my space is really limited.

EDIT: I too would be extremely happy to get to the bottom of this. I've thought about it often.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I dont want to stop vegetative growth I want to prolong it. I

Im currently running my lights at 20/4 should I go to 24/0?

Again I believe that such drastic changes might stress out the plant. I'd add (half) an hour per week and see where it goes.

Oh and welcome to AFN!

Thanks for the welcome. I will add 30 minutes to the light schedule and see what happens

One of the most effective ways to "prolong" veg in an auto- its actually more like, delaying full flowering- is to keep feeding them veg nutes right up until they stop stretching, after flowers start to show. I learned that from Muddy, here on AFN, and... Well, it came from Muddy :)
Best to you, mrmojo! :Sharing One:

cool thanks everyone for the info it is much appreciated
