problem with a jem and cristal storm

hi guys, i'm having a few issues with 2 of my girls. 1 purple jem and 1 supersonic cristal storm. both plants seem to have different issues. the jem seems to be healthy enough overall except for the very tip of the main cola,it has gone a very pale green/almost yellow with brown at the tips. all the other bud sites seem to be healthy. the c.s. is having problems with leaves only, they are spotty and yellowing and starting to crumble along the edge of the blades. they are in standard potting compost and under cfls. i think ( i know) i have been overfeeding them and i was giving them neem oil also. at first i thought it was burns from the neem but now i'm not so sure.. i flushed both of them 2 days ago and although they dont seem to have got any worse i dont see any great improvement and new growth is very very slow. i might also add that i have no idea of ph but i'm using rainwater and bio bizz grow and bloom and this has worked for me in the past with no problems. any help would be greatly appreciated:help:
the pics arent great so ive added as many as i can to help

how close to the lite is the yellow topped one...kinda looks like heat stress... w/ the spots sure look like nute burn...

hi smashed , it was about an inch i guess, i have moved it another inch away as i thought that might be it too but what has me worried is that they seem to have stunted. the jem is about 30 days old and i would expect it to be still pushing upwards

I think smashed is spot on, the JEM does seem to be too close to the light, and the storm seems to be a combo of nute burn/splash.

cristal storm looks like nute burn to me...your pics are blurry but i can make out the brown/yellow burns...

are you using an led?

no led smashed , just cfl's. almost ashamed to say i dont have a ph meter or strips

thats a must Boomer...gotta have ph equipment...i would flush the cristal storm. the jem is going to have some recover time imo from heat stress...

i know man  , took a lot out of me to admit it publicly lol! i did flush it with fresh rain water. the banks are hassling me big time atm and i literally got to account for every cent, i'm at the point where i'm gonna tell them go fuck themselves but i got a young family that need the security of being in their home.sorry for dumping that out but i'm trying to get accross how difficult it is for me to purchase even the most basic of equipment. thanks for your help bro, fingers crossed:smokebuds:

Hang in there, brother. Making sure the family is taken care of is job #1, so don't ever second guess yourself. Trust me when I say that these plants can take some abuse and still turn out some kind bud. My first grow had major pH problems and the yield was low, but the quality was still excellent.

your kind words are very much appreciated andy, thanks bro
