They say they are pushing 3 watts through each of the 5 watt LED's so that the lifespan is improved and i measured the current being pulled form the wall socket and it was only 87 watts.

Im growing 1 plant already with this light an Automaria #1 and im just wondering if this is going to be enough to flower 1 plant and how far away it should be from the top of the plant? The grow-space is only 15 inches by 20 inches and about 5 or 6 foot high.

Try 75cm for the first week then 60-45cm veg and 30cm in bloom. If you notice the plants stretching to much drop the light a bit.

May i ask what you mean by stretching? She has been growing around a half inch to 1 inch per day the last few days. I had let the plant grow as close a 3 inches to the light but today i noticed that the last set of leaves nearest to the light at the very top of the plant seemed to grow a little thinner/narrower and feel dryer, they are also facing towards the light alot like the edges of the leaf are pointing up to the light and making the leaf curve slightly. It doesn't look sick at all i can just tell they are slightly different from the others down below and it doesnt seem right that they feel so dry im assuming that they are too close to the light?.

I had the plant about 6 inches away from the light since the start and it was growing about a half inch or more per day for the last few days so thats why it got so close to the light ....i decided I'd let it get as close as possable to work out what the "real" safe distance is but to move it further away as soon as i noticed any changes to growth or the shape of leafs etc that didnt look normal. I have already moved it back to 6 inches for now and wont let it get any closer than that.

It seemed to be growing fine at 6 inches/15cm away do you really think i should move it as far away as 45cm to 60cm like your saying? I saw another guy on here saying he had the Prakasa 120 Watt 7 spectrum with 3 watt LED's and some 5 watts and could get as close as 15cm with that........sorry if i sound stupid i just wanted to know the "perfect" distance for my light!

I don't have my own cam just now i only have a webcam its meant to be 720p but the focus is garbage and cannot be adjusted. Im going to try and borrow a cam within the next few hours to take some good pics of her and get some sort of grow-log scraped together so you can see her!:niceshot:

I have a 180w (60x3w) with 103w act
ual pull)

I put it above 3 10litre pots, all 3 grew, I pulled one out that was genetically deformed. The other two both flowered and yielded 48g between them, not a monster harvest but I was chuffed for my first attempt.

I am sure that light will grow and flower a plant perfectly fine.
If you want to beast the buds during flowering, try some clip on red cfls or red leds. Always handy for intensify those bud sites.

Nice! I was thinking about getting another 90 watt UFO with red LED's to put in the closet when the flowering cycle starts....i want to do a couple of grows with the single 90 watt first just to see what the potential is with that and for practice.

Can i ask you how far away you keep your LED light from your plants? I currently have my light 6 inches away from the top of the plant.

My first grow was with a 135W (90W actual) UFO only. I yielded 2.8 oz (dried to 62% RH) off one Dark Devil plant.
It was Sati-dom and part of the grow's success was the pheno I drew...but it worked. :)

The only thing I would say about attempting to run a single UFO grow...tight quarters, mylar, keep the light
as close to the top of the plant as is feasible in bloom (like your 6 inches - I've personally found that with the
weaker LEDs we can cheat in a bit closer) and tuck, tuck, tuck so you can get light to the lower stuff. Even
though it's not usually recommended, I selectively trimmed to create "lanes" for light to get to the lower stuff...

My 2 cents...
