I've seen much discussion about container size for growing. I grow in #3 pots (I think it's 2.7 gallons). Here's the pics of my own hybrid auto AK47 X lowberry growing in a #3 pot, a #1 pot (under one gallon), and in one cup of soil in a small container.

The plant in the #3 pot is one week older than the other two, so they are 10 weeks and 9 weeks old.

Thanks for this; I didn't realize it had that much of an effect. This gives me ideas for getting more variety out of my small tent!

picture of the plant growing in one cup of soil

Here's more of a close up of the plant I have growing in one cup of soil. I am amazed that such a nice little cola can grow in one cup of soil. If you've got a pic of a plant growing in a very small container, feel free to post it here"Munch..munch..munch

So you mean you'd grow more varieties at one time, using the #1 pots?

Yeah. Am I on the wrong track?

No, sounds good. I'm guessing my larger plant will have around 2 ounces, and the #1 pot well under one ounce. But if you are just wanting to fit more plants of different varieties, you are definitely on the right track:Growing:My first two grows were Lowryder#2 in number one pots, and I got some pretty good yields, and the plants stayed healthy. I had to water more frequently though. Good luck!
