Hi, would pot size control veg/plant size regarding autoflowers ? Im trying to figure out is it possible to fit 4 small plants in 2x2 and i read somewhere that pot size would flip autoflowers to flowering earlier when they sense no more room for them. I would use fabric pots to let roots prune themselves

Here's 11 plants in a 2x2... @420autoflower is a pro at stuffing them in though
Here's a pic of 10 1gal fabric pots in a 4x4

you can def fit more then 4 plants in a 2x2 if you train and space them out.
OK, thats why i am trying to figure out if small pot would be enough. What kind of training are you thinking about ? The only thing that comes to my mind is doing some tying down, i dont have normal LST on mind but managing branches if some of them would be too wide. I saw some cool elbows for branches in grow shops. I guess its technically possible even in early flower to help directing them (but not tying as low as possible as in LST)

put two trellis nets in your tent, one for veg and one for flower, and weave the tallest plants in when they're a few weeks old then you can just remove the leaves from the bottom half of your plant
