Pollination and genetics

So I'm going to grow some Supa Freak from Humboldt seed company outside next year.
My question is can I take a clone off the outdoor plant, get it growing good in my indoor tent and then treat it to turn it male and then pollinate the female plant it came from? Will it be stable genetics?

Think it will depend on the genetics carried down from up the line.
