Looks like you’ve got a couple journals going. Will this be the one you stick with? Water temp seems low but you’ve got the root rot concern. Have you got hydroguard?

No I was gonna get some but the guys at my local hydro shop said it's shit and gave me a 8oz sample of Orca plus I had Great White powder already. I'm using both at every res change. It's growing roots. And the 3 part nutes are dyed in purple, pink, and green. Im in denial about root rot. But I'm super noon to growing anything.

Keep good oxygenation and add that stuff and you’ve seen the last of it

Hydroguard ain't shit. I've come to realize that the people at the "local hydro shop" are about as helpful as the workers at the music gear store. Stupid people that have no business working there other than it's an easy job. I am willing to bet that 85% of these clowns have never grown anything, but they're REAL quick to give advice. I freaking hung up on the clown just yesterday. They are still pushing their overpriced generic HPS lights in white boxes for $500. Not even a blurple let alone a COB or quantum board. Fucking idiots. And on top of it, they got attitude. Take what they say with a bowl of salt....a grain ain't enough.

THEY'RE called KAAAAHBS Joe's dad's stuff

This is the first hydro store I've been in and they got a shit ton of gear. At a cheaper price than Amazon or eBay. They're very knowledgeable. They host classes on different types of hydroponics. They sell used gear. They buy gear. I consider myself lucky.

Day 21. I see short and curlies . The root growth is all new growth. Finally touching the nutes. Not bad for being man handled and tossed around

I cut off the yellow dying leaves it had. Will that affect it?

UPDATE! DAY 26 ,POLAR EXPRESS AUTO DWC.
PH 5.8
WATER TEMP 64-65F
EC 924
PPM 467-497

I lowered the nute dosage by half this time around at rez change. using Glacier RO water from those self service kiosks $2 US for 5 gallons is not bad. it phed at 7 even and ppm was 3. still using Orca and Great White bennies.
Iupped cal mag from 1ml per gal to 2 ml. 0.5 of rhizotonic with Ro water for foliar spray every other day and spray to hydroton as well. This is by far the best ive done.I kinda nervous and almost feel like im not ready to see this thru but its just nerves. Anyway thanks for stopping by!
